A hover-based interface is one where the majority (or all) of the user interaction on the page can be controlled by a user hovering over an element with their cursor. Hover-based interfaces require less work to see more content than a typical click based page, but do need some thought to be put into their design and structure so that the user knows how to navigate around. WanderWall uses a hover-based interface.

The idea is to have a rounded content area with a main menu. When hovering over one of the menu items, a sub-menu element appears, circulating around the content area.
